First Light is an international surf collective built on one simple thing: the love of surfing, shared with the right people. It started with a handful of close friends and two founders, Marc and Jannick, who woke up one day with the thought "Let's build a surfcrew." - First light was born, the first waves of the day, before anyone else is out.
Once a year we bring everyone together for a Surf Exploration: an adventure planned down to the last detail, so you never have to think about the house, the cars, the spots or the program. It's made for people who take surfing, and the quiet romance that comes with it, seriously.
But it was never really about the waves alone. It's about getting just as fired up for someone else's ride as for your own, about the mornings, the bonfires, the people you end up calling family by the end of the week. Community over competition, every single time.
